Steve Grem joined Wise Consulting in 2016, bringing with him over thirty years of leadership experience in all facets of Human Resources Operations and was appointed President and Board Chair in January 2021. Steve’s focus on continuing the client success mindset is a clear reflection of the company’s current state and readiness to advance in building current sustainability and growth with clients, partners and employees.
Steve is driven by intellectual curiosity to help clients achieve maximum value on their investment in HCM technology through empowering the functional and practitioner experience and in-depth capabilities of Wise Consulting Employees. About Marta Williams
VP of Client Services - UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group)
As one of the first certified implementation consultants for Ultimate Software [now UKG], Marta Williams, CPP, joined Wise in 1998. Earlier career roles in HR and Payroll management positions at Legg Mason and Provident Bank (subsequently acquired by M&T) fueled Marta’s understanding of the challenges that HR and Payroll face when their software is outdated or ill-configured.
Marta believes that having made an investment in a powerful HCM tool like UKG Pro, organizations should be enabled to utilize it to its full potential to positively impact employees and the bottom line. With countless successful client projects under her belt, she continues to set the vision for Wise Consulting’s highly regarded team of consultants.
As VP of Client Services for Wise Consulting’s UKG practice, Marta leads a team of fully certified, experienced UKG Pro experts in bringing best in class implementation and support services to clients. Empowering her team to clearly understand client goals and guide organizations through optimal set up, implementation and post-go-live support is her top priority.


About Jennifer Southworth
VP of Client Services – Ceridian
Jennifer Southworth brings passion and experience to her role as VP of Client Services for the Ceridian Dayforce practice at Wise Consulting. Certified in all aspects of the Dayforce product, she champions team building, hands-on project management and empowering each member of her team to succeed.
Jennifer believes strongly in her team’s best in class level of service to clients. Constantly working to facilitate learning for team members to widen their depth of knowledge and develop new skills, Jennifer leads by example.
In building the Ceridian Dayforce practice, she has been able to curate a pool of talent with skills and best practice knowledge to compliment the product. Deploying practitioner-experienced, functional, and technical experts who understand systems to support clients in achieving success is her priority.


About Heather Dalton
HR Leader
Heather Dalton, SHRM-SCP, joined Wise Consulting in 2021 and is responsible for HR strategy and transforming our people practices to support business objectives and maximize individual and organizational performance and capabilities.
With over 20 years of experience, Heather has led HR teams and organizations through periods of growth and significant change. She brings a passion for engagement, leadership coaching, and talent development, along with a focus on the employee experience.
Prior to joining Wise, Heather held VP-level HR roles in Organization Development, Advisory, and Employee Experience at Element Fleet Management. She has a BS in Business Administration from Susquehanna University and an MBA from Loyola University.


About Lorry Twisdale
Director of Payroll Services
A member of both the American and Canada Payroll Associations, Lorry Twisdale, CPP, added considerable experience and skills to the Wise team when she joined the company in 2016. Lorry leads a talented team of payroll professionals in Payroll Services with hands-on expertise, empowering team members to excel at providing top quality support to every client.
Leveraging over twenty-five years of administrative, IT and operations experience, Lorry’s results-driven management style has forged an exceptional record of increasing operating efficiency through core competencies in project management, human resources recruitment, staff supervision, coaching, mentoring and IT.
Lorry has a knack for evaluating a client’s unique needs and goals and resourcing the right Wise Consulting consultants to provide optimal support in achieving success. Payroll processing, tax compliance, quality assurance, team building, conflict resolution and change management skills all fall within Lorry’s wheelhouse.


About Denise Parker
Director of Accounting
Denise Parker has been an employee at Wise Consulting since 2015. With over thirty years’ experience in accounting, Denise uses her fiscal know-how to improve profits, reduce costs and develop financial strategies and quality investments for our organization.
As a member of the Operations team, she leads a team of accounting professionals in billing, preparing budgets, and completing forecasting, as well as management of financial reporting, strategic planning, and detailed analysis.
Denise creates and implements best practice processes to streamline invoicing and accounts receivable to achieve a collection rate greater than ninety-five percent. She works with external auditors and trustees to ensure compliance.


About Tom DeStefano
Director of Operations
A champion of process improvement and effective IT solutions, Tom DeStefano joined Wise Consulting in 2016. Tom’s addition to the Operations team brought over twenty years of payroll, technology, and project management experience to our organization. Experience in management positions on both the client side and in multiple payroll service bureaus has given him insight to execute large scale change projects with minimal impact to end users.
It is Tom’s desire to understand the “why,” as well as his passion for technology, that has driven him to continually learn new products and processes with the aim of aligning Wise Consulting’s technology resources to serve the organization and all employees well into the future.
Tom’s commitment to insightful leadership, productive communication, and continuous learning empowers Wise Consulting team members to experience success in utilizing organizational resources. His initiative in managing projects with an eye toward user education enables smooth implementation of new processes and technology.
