Vendor Selection Case Study
Client Overview
The ARC of Baltimore is an organization established in 1949 that specializes in the care and promotion of people with developmental disabilities.
The ARC’s mission is to ensure that people with developmental disabilities have maximum opportunities to actively participate in all aspects of community life, and to offer programs and services that support them in doing so.
The Challenge
Due to strict government reporting regulations, The ARC of Baltimore identified the need to streamline its current manual timekeeping and reporting systems.
This task was compounded by The ARC’s current operations that covered a wide range of challenges that included caring for disabled individuals with in-home care and work placement programs.
Also, The ARC needed to ensure that its infrastructure was flexible enough to meet the daily challenges of a geographically diverse client base.
Commitment. Partnership. Results.
Wise Consulting worked with The ARC of Baltimore with a proven in-depth process that both identified and detailed all of the unique requirements that made their business so unique.
Wise Consulting did a thorough analysis of the Time & Labor marketplace as well as a detailed due diligence RFP process to identify three ‘best fit’ vendors
The ARC’s team efforts for making the final selection were supported by Wise’s structured approach for vendor selection which include:
- Scripted demonstrations
- Team questionnaires to ensure ‘apples-to-apples’ evaluation
- Reference checking
- Contract negotiation
The ARC of Baltimore has since successfully implemented their chosen solution and is now managing its business within the new infrastructure and in a more streamlined manner.
“By taking over our Payroll function, Wise Consulting has taken the worry out of producing accurate results. Each member of the team has established a solid communication among all the firm departments and employees as well.”
