April 5, 2007 - Wise Consulting Associates, Inc., a leading consulting firm specializing in HR/Payroll technology implementation and support, announced today that Folksamerica Reinsurance Company (Folksamerica) successfully implemented Phase I of its UltiPro® human resources management system (HRMS).
Folksamerica Reinsurance Company (Folksamerica) a lead multi-line broker market reinsurer and a subsidiary of White Mountains Re Group Ltd., purchased Ultimate Software's hosted UltiPro® solution system to replace its service bureau payroll services and manual HR processes.
As one of Ultimate's first implementation partners, Wise Consulting was pleased to partner with the Folksamerica team during this implementation project,” noted Janet Ladd, VP Wise Consulting. The successful implementation of UltiPro®, including the deployment of payroll, HR, and benefits functionality, in addition to employee and management self-service capabilities, was a critical factor in Folksamerica's overall strategic HR roadmap. “By defining Folksamerica's overarching key business drivers and then applying our proven implementation methodology, the Wise and Folksamerica project teams ensured that system configuration decisions supported the organization's broader business objectives,” added Ladd.

Wise's system expertise and knowledge of best practices allowed us to achieve efficiency by eliminating manual processes and a number of ancillary systems, including spreadsheets, that were in use throughout the organization,” added Kress.
Wise and Folksamerica have begun Phase II implementation efforts, including the analysis and implementation of greater self-service capabilities, including Open Enrollment, and the conversion of additional employees.
