Our Client Payroll Specialists make sure our clients’ number one resource, their employees, get paid timely and accurately, every time! Using their advanced payroll and compliance expertise to manage multiple clients, processing complex payrolls with different processing schedules, using various vendor applications and providing the utmost client/employee service is our goal! Responsible for researching and resolving client payroll and system issues, auditing, assessing client payroll practices and define areas for improvement. These are just some of the responsibilities our payroll specialists are empowered to do to foster a trusted relationship with each of our Managed Payroll clients.

Are you a Payroll Manager with a desire to lead a great team? Our payroll professionals provide expert support to a number of mid-sized organizations using Ceridian (Dayforce) and Ultimate Software (UltiPro) HRIS systems. We are dedicated to quality customer service within our professional, yet casual working environment. This position manages our payroll specialists, client relationships, provides hands-on assistance when needed, and engages with Wise leadership to grow the business.
Daily responsibilities of the Payroll Manager are diverse – from overseeing assigned payroll activities and project workload; to staff development and coaching; to assisting the Director of Managed Payroll with onboarding new clients and facilitating client discovery sessions.

Our consultants possess diverse experience in HR/Payroll operations, technology, or consulting. They bring knowledge of leading HR, Payroll or Talent Management systems along with HR/Payroll business process insight to each engagement – marrying that into world class configuration/setup, and knowledge transfer to ensure ongoing success.
Can you travel? Our consultants work virtually, but can hit the road from 20-30% of the time.
Do you get excited about specifications or enjoy “techie talk” but can easily educate, direct and explain to a business manager to apply in their life? Do you have or want experience with SQL, XML, XLST, Visual Basic, or Microsoft Access? Wise’s client projects may be the diversity you are seeking.
Our Technical Consultants provide technical direction/support during all phases of system implementation and many independent projects. Using technical expertise assist clients with implementation technical requirements definition, creating interfaces, data conversion/mapping, system configuration, and testing. Work with clients to provide post-implementation support or handle a technical project around Open Enrollment, configure complex/difficult pay or policy rules, Year-End, upgrades and more!

Wise is 100% Employee Owned
We are all owners! As an ESOP company, Wise works with a trustee to make annual share allocations to our employee owners to use for retirement investments. Allocations are calculated by prorating individual annual compensation over total company compensation and employee owners vest over a 6 year period.
401(k) Retirement Plan
Saving for retirement is important work too. At Wise we invest in your future by providing a discretionary profit sharing contribution which is currently 3%, and you’re fully vested after 5 years with us. You can begin participation the 1st of the month after 30-days.
