Wise Consulting Associates Announces Key Employee Promotions

January 30, 2018, HUNT VALLEY, MARYLAND—Wise Consulting Associates, a 100% employee-owned ESOP, today announced several promotions within the company’s senior management team. In addition, the company has added new executive positions focused on providing clients with top rated HCM consulting services.

Jennifer Wise, Founder and former President, has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer and      will remain Chairman of the Board. Steve Grem, formerly Director of Operations, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer. Chris Davies, CPP, formerly Director of Consulting Services, has been promoted to VP, Culture and Innovation; Marta Williams, formerly Director of Consulting Services, has been promoted to VP, Client Services. In addition, Wise Consulting is pleased to announce the addition of Jim Nesbitt as VP, Client Success.

Steve Grem, promoted to President and COO, joined Wise in January 2016 as Director of Operations. He brought over 30 years’ experience in corporate HR operations and technology, as well as vendor experience with HR and managed payroll services.

Chris Davies, CPP, has been with Wise since 1999 most recently was Director, Consulting Services overseeing Wise’s Ceridian practice. As VP, Culture and Innovation, Chris will be providing executive-level focus and attention on Culture and Innovation to fiercely protect consultant passion and expand services for our clients.

Marta Williams, CPP started with Wise in 1998 and rose to her former position of Director, Consulting Services, over Wise’s UltiPro practice, in 2007. As VP, Client Services, Marta will lead all of Wise’s technology-related practices, supported by a Practice Operations Manager and Consulting Managers who remain specialized by function and/or supported vendor.

Jim Nesbitt recently joined Wise Consulting in a newly formed position as VP, Client Success, this position will focus on further enhancing the success and satisfaction of our clients. Jim’s career began as an HR and payroll practitioner which he leveraged successfully during tenures at Ceridian, Workscape, SuccessFactors, and HireVue in account management and sales. He has expertise in core HR/payroll as well as compensation, benefits, and recruiting. His passion is bringing the right mix of technology and services to organizational leaders to improve their connection to their employees and their customers.

Each new position represents a critical role in contributing to Wise Consulting Associates’ long-term growth and employee-owner development and satisfaction.
