Insights, Ceridian Corporation's annual customer-oriented conference, was held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Wise's "Mission Possible" themed booth highlighted a number of recent successful client "missions" involving extensive payroll and human resource services. Also showcased at the conference was Wise's new Excelerated Workforce Reporting series. Conference goers were given a demonstration of how this tool can provide Payroll and Human Resource personnel the capability of automatically extracting current and/or historical data directly from their HR/Payroll systems. April 2004 -- Wise Consulting, Inc. to Provide Implementation and Support Services for Susquehanna Bank's Move to UltiPro Intersourcing Plus Susquehanna Bank has selected UltiPro Systems to replace its existing HR/Payroll system. Wise Consulting Associates and Ultimate Software have been alliance partners since early 1998. As one of the first UltiPro-certified implementation partners, Wise Consulting Associates is pleased to have been chosen to provide Implementation & Support Services to Susquehanna Bank. Wise will work closely with Susquehanna Bank to successfully implement Ultimate Software's UltiPro Intersourcing Plus® solution. Wise Consulting has supported many organizations during the implementation and ongoing use of their UltiPro system solutions. In addition to technical and system expertise, Wise Consulting has functional experience in the payroll and human resource areas. This combination of service capabilities gives Wise the ability to support Susquehanna Bank's technology needs with functional understanding. Wise Consulting and International Steel Group Successfully Coordinate Acquisitions International Steel Group was formed in April 2002 to create value through the profitable operation of globally competitive Steel plants. A major acquisition was pending which would more than double the company's size. ISG needed a highly skilled project manager, with in-depth Ceridian knowledge, to handle all activities to convert the newly acquired plants. With specific knowledge of the Ceridian payroll product and the expertise of managing a large-scale acquisition, Wise Consulting assisted ISG by coordinating resources, training personnel, and ensuring union environment standards were met. Wise Consulting Provides Project Management Expertise to DC Water and Sewer Authority DC Water and Sewer Authority is a multi-jurisdictional regional utility that provides drinking water, wastewater collection, and treatment to more than 500,000 residential, commercial and governmental customers in the District of Columbia. Approximately 1,200 employees work at various facilities throughout the area. DC WASA, ready for an improved payroll system, decided to convert to a hosted Ceridian system, install a web-based time and attendance system, and introduce Self Service into a highly unionized environment. Installing kiosks and over fifty time clocks required an experienced, optimistic and hard working project manager to ensure critical success in the highly unionized environment. Wise Consulting capably delivered an enhanced payroll system, including viewing access for employees and an improved time and attendance component with time-honored accuracy. By selecting Wise to manage its payroll and human resource project, DCWASA received the expertise and support of knowledgeable, skilled and dedicated professionals. Arnold and Porter LLC Extends Long-Term Payroll Management Agreement Arnold and Porter LLP, a law firm with eight offices and over 700 attorneys practicing in over 30 practice and industry areas worldwide, was left short-staffed when a payroll department member left the firm. Issues began surfacing that required immediate action. Ceridian Corporation recommended Wise as an immediate solution to Arnold & Porter's dilemma. Within a relatively short period of maintaining its payroll, Arnold & Porter requested that Wise "take over payroll." In May 2000, Wise began providing full-time payroll staffing. The Wise Consulting team, including a payroll manager, administrator and specialist, integrated themselves into the firm. Collaboratively, Arnold & Porter and Wise Consulting have restored the confidence and integrity of the Payroll Department by providing accurate reporting, internal controls and effective employee interaction through consistent coverage, technology expertise, and a true commitment to customer service. Kendal Corporation Utilizes Wise Consulting to Integrate Time and Attendance The Kendal Corporation, a non-profit corporation serving older adults, is nationally recognized in the field of aging. Since 1999, Wise Consulting has partnered with Kendal, providing continued and varied support that has included onsite training, reporting, and interface enhancements. Recently, Kendal's existing process of copying, renaming and then importing time files between the Kronos™ timekeeping system and the Source 550™ system created exposure and payroll errors when users inadvertently loaded incorrect files. With programming expertise and product knowledge of both Ceridian and Kronos, Wise Consulting provided the solution. The team developed a method that retrieved the time and attendance data and loaded it directly into Source's CycleData tables, bypassing any manual intervention. By developing a practical solution to retrieve the crucial time information automatically, Kendal has been guaranteed a dependable process with accurate information.   |
